 Indoor Yard Sale was created because I had things I wanted to sell from my own home but felt a garage sale was too much work. I considered one of those eBay drop-off locations but the prices were too high and the return not really worth the trouble for a low-ticket item. Some of them don't even take your items unless they are of considerable value.
That got me thinking about the idea of one big yard sale where people could bring their stuff, have it sold and then receive a check - but without all the hassle. It’s similar to the eBay drop-off locations but instead it is a place that would accept most anything and still give the maximum return when the item sells.
This is how Indoor Yard Sale was born. We have a consignment store where people can walk in off the street and browse our items. When a purchase is made of one of your items, we send you a check. |
